AIRBORNE
EXCELLENCE..

With strategically placed rotor-wing and fixed-wing bases, our teams respond fast to emergencies and inter-facility transfers across Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi — providing critical care when every second counts.

Service Area

Pafford Air One is the premier emergency helicopter service in the region, with strategically placed rotor-wing bases in Ruston, LA (Air One Alpha), Alexandria. LA (Air One Romeo), Ferriday, LA (Air One Sierra), Monticello, AR (Air One Echo), Tupelo, MS (Air One Tango) and Clarksdale, MS (Air One Delta).

This geographic distribution allows our crews to rapidly respond to emergency medical and trauma scene calls within a 100-mile radius of each base, as well as provide inter-facility transfers within 150 miles for patients requiring specialty care. In addition, our Ruston, LA base houses a fixed-wing aircraft configured for advanced medical transport, ensuring critically ill patients can be transferred safely and efficiently.

Preferred Provider
One Call Agreement

Pafford AirOne has established a One Call Agreement with our partner hospitals and sending agencies to streamline the process of requesting air medical transport. Under this agreement, our Flight Communications Center (FlightComm) serves as the single point of contact for all air ambulance requests. When a patient requires rapid transport to a higher level of care, the sending facility simply places one call to FlightComm, and we coordinate the closest and most appropriate AirOne helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft, or specialty ground critical care unit.

This arrangement reduces the workload on hospital staff, speeds response times for time-critical diagnoses, and allows us to launch without waiting for an accepting physician or available bed when appropriate. The One Call Agreement ensures a seamless, coordinated, and patient-focused approach to emergency air medical transport.
